The project
A freight line across the country
Inland Rail is a new freight rail line between Melbourne and Brisbane through regional Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. The Illabo to Stockinbingal section in the Riverina is a new stretch of line that lets freight trains bypass Cootamundra and the steep Bethungra Spiral.
From our Wagga Wagga depot, Superior Cranes supplies cranes on wet hire with our own operators and crews, working inside the project's rail and civil environment every day.

Why rail-ready matters
Rail corridor work runs on access windows and strict site rules. Our crews include Rail Industry Worker accredited operators, riggers and doggers, inducted and ready for corridor work from day one, and our NSW operations are managed by WHS-qualified people who know the paperwork as well as the lifting.
