Ipswich lifts, run from our Brisbane yard
Ipswich jobs run from our Tingalpa yard in Brisbane, with our own cranes, operators and transport. You deal with one team from the first call to the final lift, whether you need a Franna for the day or an all-terrain crane for an engineered lift.
We lift for builders, contractors, industrial sites and homeowners. The right crane depends on the weight of the load, how far out it has to be placed and what the site allows, so we ask about those first. If a smaller crane will do the job, we will say so.

Which crane for your Ipswich job?
From construction lifts and air conditioning plant to heavy materials handling, most crane hire comes down to three choices. Here is how we think about each one.
Franna crane hire in Ipswich
Pick and carry cranes that drive to site, set up in minutes and carry the load with them. Best for unloading trucks, moving steel, precast and plant, and long sites. Our 20 t and 25 t Frannas are based in Brisbane. Franna crane hire
Mobile crane hire in Ipswich
All-terrain slew cranes set up on outriggers and rotate through 360 degrees, so they reach over buildings and place loads precisely. Our Brisbane-based slew cranes run from 35 t to 230 t. Slew crane hire
Small crane hire in Ipswich
Where access is tight, our 13 t city cranes and the 20 t Franna AT20 do the job without the footprint of a big crane: roofs, backyards, laneways and plant rooms. City and small crane hire

Questions
Crane hire in Ipswich
Do you do Franna crane hire in Ipswich?
Yes. Our 20 t and 25 t Frannas are based at our Brisbane yard and work in Ipswich as well. Every Franna comes with an experienced operator, and we can add a dogger or rigger when the lift needs one. See our Franna crane hire page for the models.
Can you get a crane onto a tight site in Ipswich?
Often, yes. Our 13 t city cranes are compact, all-wheel steer machines made for tight access. Send us the address and photos of the access, or ask us to come and look, and we will tell you which crane fits. See city and small crane hire.
What size mobile crane do I need?
It depends on the load, how far out it has to be placed (the radius) and the ground and space on site. Send us the weight, size and lift height, ideally with photos, and our lift planners will match the crane. Our guide How to work out what capacity crane you need explains the thinking.
Do you arrange road permits and traffic control in Ipswich?
If a crane sets up on a road or footpath, or the load passes over one, a council permit and traffic control may be needed. We will tell you what applies to your site and can arrange it. Allow lead time for permits.
How much does crane hire cost in Ipswich?
It depends on the crane, the hours, the crew, how far the crane has to travel and any permits. Most jobs have a minimum hire. Send us the details for a fixed, itemised quote.
